Selpa-Imperial County Office of Education
The SELPA is comprised by the seventeen Local Education Agencies (LEA's) or districts to include the Imperial County Office of Education (ICOE). The local plan is approved by each LEA, the California Department of Education, Special Education Division, and the State Board of Education.

The San Diego Regional Center provides a variety of services to persons with developmental disabilities, their families, and the community. These services are in addition to those provided within the health, education, and social services systems.

Exceptional Families Resource Center
The mission of the Exceptional Family Resource Center is to provide support, information and education for families of children with disabilities and the professionals who assist these families. By offering emotional support and factual information, the Center enables families to help their children reach their fullest potential.

Head Starts Programs
Imperial County Office of Education-Infant Toddler Program
The Imperial County Infant/Toddler Program is designed for any child from birth to age 3 who have any kind of developmental delay, high risk medical condition/handicapping condition or other disability. It is administered through the Imperial County Office of Education Special Education Department. The following are examples of the types of conditions which make a child eligible for the program: Cerebral Palsy, Prematurity, Down syndrome, Visual Impairment, Myelomeningocele, Hearing Impairment, Neurological Impairment, Genetic Defects, High-Risk Medical Conditions, Prenatal Exposure to Drugs/Alcohol, Developmental Delay

Imperial County Office of Education- Early Head Start
If your Child is 6 weeks to 36 months old, and /or you are pregnant, you may be eligible to enroll your child in Early Head Start if you live in Imperial County and meet program requirements.

Preschools
Kid’s r Us Program
The ICOE Early Care and Education Program provide quality, affordable and accessible child development services for income eligible families. Services can be obtained if the parent is working, going to school, in training or because the parent would like for their child to have a preschool experience before the child enters elementary school. The State Preschool Program has its own eligibility requirements.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing School Programs
ICOE-Deaf and Hard of Hearing Programs
Provides educational and interpretive services to students ages three through twenty-one who are deaf or hard of hearing. Students are integrated with supports as appropriate into regular classroom settings based upon Individualized Education Plans. Curriculum focus is based upon core curriculum standards and incorporates aspects related to deaf culture and language development.

California Children Services
California Children Services (CCS)
CCS is California's medical program for treating children diagnosed with certain physically disabling medical conditions. CCS in Imperial County is comprised of two units: the Case Management Unit and the Medical Therapy Unit (MTU). CCS arranges, directs, and pays for medical care, equipment, and rehabilitation, when the program authorizes these services. Services can be authorized for children and young adults under 21 years of age who have eligible medical conditions and whose families are unable to pay for all or part of their care.

Imperial County Department of Social Services
Medi-Cal
Medi-Cal is California's Medicaid health care program. This program pays for a variety of medical services for children and adults with limited income and resources. Medi-Cal is supported by federal and state taxes. You can apply for Medi-Cal benefits regardless of sex, race, religion, color, national origin, sexual orientation, marital status, age, disability, or veteran status. If you are found (or determined) eligible, you can get Medi-Cal as long as you continue to meet the eligibility requirements.
